spice of life to McCall with three days of world-class epicurean delights. The weekend-long festivities included a Farmer’s and Fair Trade Market with locally-sourced, artisanal goods; a spectacular Winemaker’s Dinner featuring Duckhorn Vineyard; a lineup of foodie flicks at the Shore Lodge Theater; a deductive wine-tasting course; and the high-stakes Culinary King of the Mountain Competition.

Our 5th annual Brunch & Hunt was just such an occasion, with a delicious brunch set up, photo ops with the Easter Bunny, and a special Easter egg hunt on the clubhouse lawn.

SEASON OPENING TOURNAMENT
While winter was a bit reluctant to leave us this year, creeping into our early spring season, Whitetail Club members waited on the sidelines for the opportunity to return to our championship golf course. The moment arrived during Memorial Day weekend, when spring triumphed over winter, and we celebrated with the Season Opening Tournament.

The Shore Lodge Winemaker’s Dinner invited members, locals, and guests to indulge in a unique palatal journey with Bodega Garzón. This award-winning winery, named the 2018 New World Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast magazine, paired a selection of their fine wines with an unforgettable five-course dinner. Throughout the Latin American winegrowing world, Uruguay stands as the most prominent country, recognized for their iconic Tannat grape, which delivers a unique, velvety flavor, and we were fortunate to have those flavors delivered to us here in McCall, Idaho.
