THE PROGRESSIVE DINNER
October 6th 2018
W
E ENJOYED A SPECIAL FALL THEMED-DINNER prepared by the Whitetail Club culinary team in an exciting new format. This incredible dinner allowed members to “progress
through a four-course meal and the Whitetail Club community, beginning at the clubhouse and spanning through three member homes, with each house featuring an expertly prepared course by the Whitetail Club culinary team. We kicked it off at the clubhouse, where diners met for appetizers, light snacks and socializing before boarding a Whitetail Club-provided shuttle. We then sped off to the second course, Red Lentil Soup Shots and Autumn Squash with Chanterelle Mushroom Risotto. From there we headed to our third course which included Cast Iron Seared Washington State Beef Filet Minion with Jumbo Shrimp and also Massaman Chicken Curry. Needless to say, we took our time to savor each incredible bite of this course. It was then back to the shuttle for the final course: a decadent dessert consisting of Dark Chocolate Mocha Mousse Cups, Harvest Pear Mini Tartlets and Smokey Rogue River Blue Cheese Bites. It was the perfect way to end the evening.

Closing Time October 13th 2018
THE CLOSING DAY FALL CLASSIC It’s always a sad time when the golf season comes to a close, and that is why we hold a celebratory Fall Classic Tournament: to properly honor all the good times and good friends we’ve spent time with during the season. Member teams of four took to the course one last time in 2018 for a fun and competitive 18-hole game. We can’t wait for May 18, 2019…OPENING DAY!

HETHER YOU DELIGHT IN ENTERTAINING A LARGE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, or prefer to put on the ritz for a small audience of your household, there are few
crowd-pleasers that wow like Spanish tapas. The Lake Cottage played host for the Member’s Only Cooking Class where members honed their skills with fresh flavors and fantastic friends during a private lesson from our very own Chef Matt Gilbert, Executive Chef at Shore Lodge. We tested his tried and true tips and tricks for creating three excellent Spanish tapas that have already become favorites in members’ wheelhouse. Once members honed their culinary skills, they enjoyed generous tastings of each dish with a wine pairing or specialty cocktail, and each “student” left the event with menu cards, a special gift, and the confidence to replicate these dishes at home.

THE SHORE LODGE CONCERT SERIES
T ’ S B E E N A L O NG ROA D F O R B R A N D O N R AY. From purchasing his first guitar at 13 to hitting the road with his band at 18, opening for the likes of Taylor Swift and Willie Nelson at Kansas
City’s historic Starlight Theatre, performing at CMA Fest 2017 — and now,
hitting the stage at the Shore Lodge Fall Concert Series. Once he fired up the band and the crowd, it was easy to see why his recent accolades include Spotlight Artist of the Week, Country Top 30 with Bobby Bones, one of CMT’s 2017 “ListenUp” Artists, and being named one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone and Rolling Stone Country. This was an unforgettable night on the shores of Payette Lake.
