A Splash to Start the Summer FAMILY FISHING DERBY AND 4 TH OF JULY BBQ

July 2nd & July 4th
E KICKED OFF SUMMER 2021 with a set of Whitetail Club traditions for the whole family. First up, our junior members were invited to partake in our annual catch & release competition, the Family Fishing Derby! Whitetail Club’s
fishing pond was stocked, equipment and bait were all laid out, and we started reelin’ them in once the whistle blew! Awards were presented for “First Fish Caught,” “Longest Fish,” “Most Caught Fish,” and the ever-important “Smallest Fish,” and we ended the day with cold treats in the summer sun. After getting hooked in some friendly competition, we celebrated Independence Day with our annual 4th of July BBQ at our community’s open space park! Members and their guests enjoyed a lunch buffet with classic dishes (including homemade apple pie) and sipped on a selection of craft beers, wines, and signature cocktails, while kids played with yard games, rivaled in a potato sack race, splashed at our water balloon toss and even enjoyed an inflatable obstacle course. What a way to start the summer!

LADIES MEMBER GUEST

FTER A YEAR’S HIATUS, THE LADIES MEMBER GUEST roared back onto the scene, bringing with it the greatest show in Idaho. Whitetail Club’s golf-loving ladies and their guests graced our 18-hole
championship golf course with countless feats of precision and concentration for three whole days. Before play, participants indulged in decadent breakfasts and chair massages, then celebrated their love for the game with spectacular social events post-play. From the cocktail party to the plated lunch to the circus-themed bash on the clubhouse lawn, the 2021 Ladies Member Guest was the greatest show on earth! 05
Just for Us! MEMBER/MEMBER TOURNAMENT

HE WHITETAIL CLUB MEMBER/MEMBER TOURNAMENT returned for another smashing year of fun, fare, and prizes for only our members to enjoy! This two-day tourney pitted members vs. members for an
exclusive weekend of fun on our award-winning greens. Participants partnered up with fellow Whitetail Club members for a weekend of friendly competition and camaraderie in the premier golf community in the pacific northwest and closed the tournament with a spirited awards ceremony on the patio of our new golf training facility. Nothing like an exclusive weekend of golf in McCall!

MEMBERS ONLY LAKE CRUISE

July 24th
HE LAKE WAS BREEZY, THE SUN WAS SHINING, and our Hawaiian-themed Lake Cruise was a total blast! Members met us at the Whitetail Club marina to board a chartered cruise around
Payette Lake, complete with live music to set the mood, chef-prepared appetizers, and a full no-host bar. What’s more, participants enjoyed one of the best views in the country and one of the most beautiful sunsets of the summer. This marked the beginning of a new Whitetail Club tradition!

HIKE & A PICNIC

C CALL LOCALS KNOW THAT VIEWS WORTH SEEING
take a bit of work to get to—that’s why all our outdoorsy members were psyched to be a part of Whitetail Club’s first-ever Hike & Picnic event.
Members put on their hiking boots and met us at the clubhouse, where our shuttle was primed and prepped to take them to the head of Boulder Lake Trail, one of McCall’s most scenic hikes. After a two-mile trek with moderate elevation gain, members were met with a breathtaking view of Boulder Lake and the Salmon River Mountains in the distance. After the hike back, members arrived to a picnic set-up complete with champagne, wine, and delicious trail meals made by a Whitetail Club chef.

Groovin ’ o n t he Greens MEN’S INVITATIONAL

E GOT IN THE GROOVE HERE AT WHITETAIL CLUB for our big blowout golf tournament—and it was a huge success! The smashing summer event returned for another year of fun, tee times, cocktail parties, and awards for four
days and nights on our award-winning greens. Members and their guests kicked off their weekend with a practice round followed by a cocktail party, and the next day the competition began. Participating teams showed off their skills during each round and enjoyed plenty of downtime before and after play. From breakfasts with chair massages and drinks by the lake to lunches on the course and lawn games at the clubhouse, this year’s Men’s Invitational itinerary was packed! And of course, the weekend wouldn’t be complete without our incredible awards dinner and ceremony at The Fish & Swim Club. Congratulations to the winners, and a huge thank you to all the golf lovers that participated!

HE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF THE MEN’S INVITATIONAL CULMINATED INTO OUR MOST ROCKIN’ CONCERT YET! Whitetail Club’s mountain-view setting served as the backdrop
for a ground-shaking outdoor performance by the invisible voice behind the Academy Award-winning Freddie Mercury biopic, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Marc Martel and The Ultimate Queen Celebration sang all the hits with an uncanny likeness to the late Queen frontman. From classics like “We Will Rock You” and “Another One Bites the Dust” to underrated gems like “The Millionaire Waltz, and “The Show Must Go On,” this show had every member and their guests Groovin’ on the Greens!

N THE SPIRIT OF BIDDING FAREWELL TO THE SUMMER SEASON, Whitetail Club Members were invited to explore the exquisite flavors of Napa Valley without ever leaving Idaho! Our Members Only Wine Dinner featured the
renowned wines of Grgich Hills Winery paired with five dinner courses made by Whitetail Club’s culinary team. Members met at the clubhouse restaurant, where they enjoyed appetizers and an Aperitif wine before indulging in a burst of flavor with each paired course. At the end of the event, members had the unique opportunity of bringing a piece of their culinary escapades home by purchasing bottles of their favorite varietals of the night. What a perfect way to ring in the autumn season!
