EASTER BRUNCH & HUNT EGGCELLENT ANNUAL TRADITIONS

HITETAIL CLUB’S LITTLE PEEPS hopped over to the clubhouse for a traditional Easter celebration. Chef Marcus and the culinary team prepared a brunch with breakfast favorites for the kids and dished sweet and savory flavors
for the adults. The Easter Bunny visited for photo ops and stayed to look at all the treats the kids gathered at the Egg Hunt.

ROAD TRIP WITH THE CREW

EMBERS HAD A CHANCE TO GET INTO THE SWING of things before the Whitetail Club Golf Course opened with our annual golf outing. Eugene Bonfilio, Director
of Golf, led a trip to one of Boise’s finest golf courses, BanBury, where members played, sipped, and enjoyed some pre-season golf! After the day of play, winning members were awarded for their performance at a Mexican-themed dinner prepared by Whitetail Club’s culinary team, complete with delicious margaritas.

Mother’s Day Weekend CHANNELING OUR INNER PICASSO

HIS SPECIAL WEEKEND included a Paint & Sip event on Saturday and a special Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday. Our first-ever private painting class was instructed by a local artist, Sharon Herther. Champagne, lemonade and
a charcuterie board were served to fuel the artists. On Sunday, Chef and the culinary team prepared a special brunch menu, served with a lake view at the clubhouse. A live band played throughout the event while moms were treated to mimosas—A perfect weekend to celebrate Mom!

SCHOOL’S IN SESSION

ICKLEBALL IS A GREAT WAY TO ENJOY WHITETAIL CLUB’S INDOOR & OUTDOOR COURTS THIS SUMMER! We hosted our first-ever Pickleball Clinic to prepare for the summer season—a 6-hour
crash course with Brian Umbaugh, an accomplished pickleball instructor. The clinic guided members through the basics of form, strategy, post-hit movements, defense techniques, and court awareness. What’s more, participating members went on to compete in Whitetail Club’s annual Pickleball Tournament later on in the season. More on page 15. 09

HITETAIL CLUB’S ANNUAL SEASON OPENING TOURNAMENT KICKED OFF an incredibly active season of play. This yearly event followed a two best balls of four NET format, and members and
their guests were grouped into teams of four. After a day of play, the celebration continued at a complimentary Member Mixer, where everyone in attendance recounted their best swings of the day over a selection of passed appetizers and signature cocktails.

EST KNOWN FOR ITS FLAGSHIP CABERNET, Insignia, Joseph Phelps Vineyards have set the standard for traditional Napa Valley wines for nearly five decades. On June 5th, Shore Lodge’s culinary team curated a five-course menu to pair
with wines from the critically acclaimed winery. The winemaker was on hand to guide us through the pairings, and members had the opportunity to purchase selections of their preferred varietal.

HIS TOURNAMENT GETS MORE POPULAR BY THE YEAR, and after last month’s Pickleball Clinic, our members were ready to compete. Players registered for doubles play and had a blast! Winners were
celebrated during the Member Mixer later that evening at The Fish & Swim Club, complete with passed appetizers and live music.

CAMP SHARLIE BEGINS KIDS TIME
June 15th
Calling all kids! This authentically Idaho summer camp is full of thrilling adventures sure to create lifelong memories. Our junior members are immersed in all things Idaho with days on the lake, hiking, picking huckleberries, and arts and crafts like making wind chimes and birdhouses. The camp also includes off-site day trips to the local hot springs, indoor ice rink, and local natural attractions. Camp runs June–August for Members 4–12 years of age.
