Director’s Note

Catching up with the Whitetail Club Director

Spring Greetings Whitetail Club Members, >> April Trailblazer issues are some of my favorites because this is when we highlight members’ photos from their spring break adventures. From the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to tango lessons in Buenos Aires, our members where there. Thank you to all who shared pictures of these amazing memory-making trips from around the globe. Aside from a great Trailblazer, April also brings two very special weekend events: our annual Shore Lodge Culinary Festival, April 5-7 and the 2nd annual Jazz Party, April 26-28. If the ‘not quite summer, but no longer winter’ weather of April has got you looking for ways to pass the time, plan to head to McCall during these action-packed weekends. We’re heating things up indoors with festivities and entertainment that will make you forget that summer isn’t quite here. Make your reservations for Easter Brunch today. The Easter bunny herself will be there to take photos and to help the kids gather eggs during the hunt. An annual tradition not to be missed. Brunch will be served from 9am - 2pm, the bunny will be in the house from 10am - noon and the hunt starts at 11am. Kids, don’t forget to bring your baskets! As of April 1, all existing gate codes will be deactivated and new gate codes will go into effect. All members should have received their new gate codes via the mail. If you haven’t received yours as of yet, please contact Whitetail Security at, or 208.630.3795. A reminder that your gate codes are specific to your membership and are intended for family and close friends only. For all other non-member access please use the guest access systems in place.

Welcome to our newest members Patrick & Christy Hubbard. We’re thrilled to welcome you to the Whitetail Club family. We’ll be playing golf in 6 weeks,

FIND YOUR BALANCE THE WHITETAIL CLUB YOGA RETREAT Mindfulness. Asana. Mantra. Meditation. While yoga is a haven for some, at first glance, it may seem like an intimidating endeavor to others. What is vinyasa? How does one “breathe into their muscle”? And what, exactly, is the deal with the downward dog? This summer, we invite you to find your balance at Whitetail Club with a two-day restorative yoga retreat designed to sooth the mind, body and soul. Join us as Elizabeth Kittell of Yoga Inbody in McCall guides us through Meditation 101, the philosophies of yoga, and a variety of yoga classes including Asana, restorative and even SUP yoga (for all those insta-worthy photos). This transformational event takes place across multiple Whitetail Club venues, and is open to all members and their guests (15 & older), so be sure to bring a friend. RSVP by May 27th.

JUNE 8 – 9, 2019 COST IS $150* To RSVP, or for more information, contact the concierge at 208.630.0274 *plus tax
