I can’t stress enough how important it is to “keep it local” as in, support the people who spend the money you give them for their services back into our community. It not only helps us afford to maintain our beautiful place we live, but also saves us money by helping to guarantee that service will be around when you need them again. Re-investing in our community can be done many ways, but a sure-fire way is to spend and keep spending at the many fine locally owned businesses in Halton Hills. It would be remiss for me not to mention how fortunate we are to have some of the nicest, most professional, and knowledgeable politicians working FOR US to keep what we have here. Georgetown is and has always been a special place. The more I travel, the more I recognize this to be true. “It takes a village to raise a child” is an old African proverb describing that an entire community of people must provide for and interact positively with children for them to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment. Using Georgetown as the analogy, I would say we are all doing a fine job.
