Karen L. Miegel, 67, of Denver, PA was welcomed home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 3, 2023. She was the wife of William (Paul) Miegel for which they shared 38 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late William and MaryAnne Haller.

In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by her two sons: Billy (Becky) Miegel of Ephrata, PA, and Zach (Claire) Miegel of Lititz, PA; her three grandchildren Ethan, Evan, and Everleigh Miegella; and her sister, Nina Haller (Sue Uibel) of Denver, PA.

Karen loved going down to her camper in Delaware and sitting by the beach. She had a strong faith in Jesus. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and visiting relatives.

At the request of her family, viewing and services will be private for immediate family and friends.

Jeffrey W. Brugger, 68, Denver, passed away on Wednesday, July 5.

Helen E. (Eberly) Keller, 90, Brethren Village, Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, July 25.

She was the wife of the late Harold.

She is survived by three sons: Benjamin Keller; Tim Keller, husband of Brenda; and Matthew Keller, husband of Kristina; five daughters: Peggy Crowl, wife of Sam; Patsy Hoffer, wife of Dale; and Amy Wells, wife of Dave; 19 grandchildren; 29 greatgrandchildren; and two sisters: Peggy Eberly Belser, and Mary Short.

She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Keith Keller.

Donald K. Steller, 88, Mennonite Home, formerly of Leola and Brownstown, passed away on Sunday, July 30.

He was the husband of the late June Albright Steller.

He is survived by two sons: Michael, husband of

Debra Frank Steller, Lancaster, and Mark Steller, Leola; a daughter, Susanne, wife of Charles Alfonso, Langhorne; seven grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Steller.

Christine Dorothy Laurie, 69, wife of Gary Laurie, East Earl, passed away on Tuesday, August 1.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons: Jonathan Heisler, and Christopher Laurie; a daughter, Jennifer Laurie; and two grandchildren.

Lorraine M. Mull, 75, Rose City Nursing and Rahab, Lancaster, formerly of Denver, passed away on Tuesday, August 1.

She is survived by a son Glenn Mull Jr., husband of Karen Henley, Denver; three daughters: Wendy Dussinger, wife of Glenn Dussinger, Lititz; Connie Mull, fiancée of Kelly Wenrich, Ephrata; and Tina Mull, Elizabethtown; four grandchildren; a brother, Dale Sweigart, Ephrata; and a sister, Christine Bensinger, Lebanon.

Virginia L. Whiskeyman, 87, Lititz, passed away on

Tuesday, August 1.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Hardy, wife of Gary, Lititz; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Whiskeyman.

Robert “Bob” E. Reapsome, 66, husband of Lynn, Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, August 2.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons: Tom, significant other of Jess, and Travis; and a sister, Elaine Stone.

Edna E. Stoltzfus, 89, Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, August 2.

She was the wife of the late Stephen S. Stoltzfus.

She is survived by a son, Clair, husband of Thelma Hoover Stoltzfus, East Earl; two daughters: Carolyn, wife of Michael Biggs, Greenwood, Delaware, and Cheryl, wife of Larry Landis, Honey Brook; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Donald B. Schannauer, husband of Nancy Schannauer, Newport Perry County, formerly of Reinholds, passed away on Thursday, August 3.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Ricky, Tower City; a daughter, Donna, wife of Andrew Strenko, Reinholds; three grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; a brother, Irvin B. Schannauer Jr.; and two sisters: Shirley Showalter, and Anna Adams.

Harry M. “Barney” Bartch, IV, 51, Lititz, died Friday, August 4.

He is survived by his parents, Earl P. Jr. and Sarah (Resch) Graham; and a sister, Tiffany Bartch.

51, Lititz, passed away on Friday, August 4.

She is survived by her father, Victor Hibshman, stepmother, Vera Rose Rohrer Hibshman; and two sisters: Diane Auker, wife of Lavern, and Darla Leid, wife of Lester.

Anne Elizabeth “Betsy” Leinbach, 80, Ephrata, passed away on Friday, August 4.

She was the wife of the late Randy Leinbach.

She is survived by a son, Chuck, husband of Gretchen Leinbach; two daughters: Whitney Zimmerman, and Lisa, wife of Rick DeGeorge; seven grandchildren; a brother, Alan, husband of Barb Ebersole; and a sister, Noreen, wife of John Rineer.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Beatrice R. Stauffer, 91, Ephrata, passed away on Friday, August 4.

She is survived by a brother, Lloyd R. Stauffer, Dundee, New York.

Thomas G. Price Jr., 88, husband of Carole F. (Getz) Price, Lititz, passed away on Saturday, August 5.

Lititz Senior Center Lists Activities

The Lancaster County Office of Aging, Lititz Senior Center, located at Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 East Market Street, Lititz, is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with lunch served at noon. There is no cost to attend.

The Center serves independent Lancaster County seniors ages 60 and up from Ephrata, Rothsville, Akron, Neffsville and Lititz areas. Ephrata is also served by van service. Reservations for lunch and transportation must be made by 10:00 a.m., one day in advance, by calling the Center at 717626-2800.

Daily Activities Include:
