Lititz Senior Center Lists Activities

The Lancaster County Office of Aging, Lititz Senior Center, located at Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 East Market Street, Lititz, is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with lunch served at noon. There is no cost to attend.

The Center serves independent Lancaster County seniors ages 60 and up from Ephrata, Rothsville, Akron, Neffsville and Lititz areas. Ephrata is also served by van service. Reservations for lunch and transportation must be made by 10:00 a.m., one day in advance, by calling the Center at 7176262800.

Daily Activities Include:

Wednesday, March 15: Fresh Vegetables Delivered; 9:00 a.m., Tai Chi with Kathy; 10:30 a.m., Bingo; 12:00 Noon, Lunch.

Thursday, March 16: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day; 9:15 a.m., Exercise with Kathy; 10:15 a.m., Music with Allan Dutton; 12:00 Noon, Lunch.

Monday, March 20: 9:15 a.m., Exercise with Kathy; 9:30 a.m., Clothing Bank; Blood Pressure Check; 10:00 a.m., Creating Power of Attorney by Mid Penn

Legal Services; 12:00 Noon.

Lunch Menu:

Wednesday, March 15: Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, 1/2 cup potato salad, hamburger roll, seasonal fresh fruit.

Thursday, March 16: Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 3/4 cup corned beef and cabbage, 1/2 cup boiled potatoes with chives, 1/2 cup green beans, dinner roll, 1/2 cup pistachio pudding.

Monday, March 20: Burgundy glazed meatballs (4), 1/2 cup rice, 1/2 cup mixed vegetables, Italian breadstick, 1/2 cup mandarin oranges.
