Akron Lions Support Organizations On Donation Night

Eighteen organizations were invited to the club meeting of the Akron Lions Club recently. This was a special meeting to give out donations from proceeds from the Ephrata Fair food stand. Many of these organizations also help the Akron Lions serve their famous toasted cheeseburger sandwiches during the fair. The fair is a lot of work, but it pays off when the Akron Lions can share with other organizations, which also serve their fellow man.

Checks were distributed in the amount of $31,900.
