First Choice: STYLE

These covers are sized to fit various book heights within your collection. For example, if you have 9"H books and 10"H books, they can both be covered with 10"H covers.
These covers are designed to fit a specific book height without the need for adjustment.
BJC Features
• Brodart Book Jacket Covers (BJCs) represent the largest variety of style formats in the industry. They also offer great convenience features like folding guides, anchor tabs, and adhesive strips. • Brodart BJCs are designed to protect your book’s cover and/or dust jacket from scratches, wear and tear, fingerprints, and moisture. • With just three basic choices, you can locate the cover that best meets your needs.
Second Choice: FILM
Polyester
Polypropylene
Chemically inert, archival-safe, and durable material that will not stretch or yellow over time; recommended for circulated volumes. Available in lo-luster (to hide imperfections) and super clear (to show off new dust jackets). Available in 1.5-mil and 2-mil thicknesses.
Soft, flexible, quiet material that will stretch but will not tear; recommended for non-circulating or personal collections. Available in non-reflective (to hide imperfections) and clear (to show off new dust jackets). Available in 2.5-mil thickness. Best for home collections or non-circulated books.
Ideal choice for circulated books.
Third Choice: FORMAT
Sheets
Rolls
For fast, easy, convenient application, sheets are pre-cut to specific book heights and widths. Packed in acid-free shrink wrap to prevent shifting, folding, and damage. Available in packs of 25 or 100.
For cost-effective application, rolls may be cut to length per book. Rolls are packaged in Brodart’s guaranteed SafePack box with exclusive plastic supports to prevent crushed corners.

BASICS FOR APPLYING THIS BOOK JACKET COVER . . .
A. Film to Film
• Insert dust jacket between paper and film. • Check to ensure the top of the dust jacket meets the top of the cover as shown in inset.
• Fold excess paper and film up to meet the bottom of the dust jacket and crease with a bone folder. • Secure the film to the paper liner. • Apply covered jacket to the book.
• Anchoring the cover is optional in some applications. If you choose to anchor, we recommend attaching strips (pg. 16) using one of the methods shown in the insets at right.

• Insert top of dust jacket between the paper and film of one of the two cover pieces. • Insert the bottom of the dust jacket into the second cover piece. • Check to ensure that the top and bottom of the dust jacket meet the top and bottom of the cover pieces.
• Check alignment on right and left sides. • Secure the two cover pieces with the adhesive strip. • Apply covered jacket to the book.
• Anchor covered jacket to the book with optional self-stick tabs as shown or with attaching strips (pg. 16) using one of the methods shown on page 9.
