Jules & Rose Levin–

A Sholom Success Story

Capturing Lives Well-Lived in a Photo Exhibit

S

everal months ago as Sholom began to develop a photo exhibit, the theme became obvious: honoring twelve of Sholom’s centenarians, individuals 100 years of age and older. According to the Pew Research Center, in 1990 there were 2.9 centenarians for every 10,000 adults ages 65 and older around the world. That share grew to 7.4 by 2015 and is projected to rise to 23.6 by 2050. At Sholom, too, the number of residents celebrating their 100th birthday continues to grow.

Sholom’s centenarians featured.

This beautiful portrait exhibit, 100 Years of Wisdom, Photos and Reflections from Twelve of Sholom’s Beloved Centenarians, is located along the gallery hallway at Sholom Home West on the Ackerberg Family Sholom West campus in St. Louis Park. continued on page 3
