Shoalhaven’s beautiful bays and inlets are ideal for kayaking, with many tour and hire options available in Jervis Bay. Paddle among diverse sea life, including the resident dolphins, and explore the coastline’s white, sandy beaches. Kangaroo Valley’s stunning sandstone-lined rivers and emerald forests provide the perfect environment for canoeing, kayaking, and multi-day packrafting. For an out-of-this-world experience, meander through the sunken forest of Yarrunga Creek where a sea of gum trees protrudes from the water. Hire a canoe or kayak from one of the many local businesses or take a guided tour to discover the hidden gems. Keep an eye out for the annual F.O.C.K festival (Festival of Canoe and Kayak) for fl oating concerts, campouts, and Corroboree.
