1. Slurpees Be sure to check the current COR Canadian Slurpee List to ensure that your flavour of choice is on the list. If it is not listed, then it may not be kosher. It is further advisable to verify the kashrus of your choice flavour by requesting permission from the store operator to check the label on the box of syrup that is connected to the Slurpee machine. This way you can be certain that the Slurpee is kosher.

2. Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurts & Ices There are several options for kosher ice cream, frozen yogurt and ices. If you adhere to the requirements of cholov Yisroel then you must be sure to purchase packaged products that bear a reliable kosher certification and are marked with the cholov Yisroel designation. Unless the package explicitly bears the cholov Yisroel designation, it should be assumed not to be cholov Yisroel. Cholov Yisroel soft ice cream is available at several COR certified establishments. The Inside Scoop at Bathurst and Wilson is COR certified and both Cholov Yisroel and Not Cholov Yisroel are available. Consumers should purchase ice cream and frozen yogurt from kosher certified establishments that are supervised by a mashgiach and not from stores that are unsupervised, especially in situations where it is not possible to verify the kashrus status of each product independently.

Ices that bear the DE designation are dairy equipment which means that they are pareve but have been pasteurized on equipment that was previously used to cook dairy product that is not Cholov Yisroel.
