For this edition of the Viking Voice, we wanted to explore a new question…who is Shiplake College’s coolest teacher? We sent out a survey and here are the top 3 teachers as voted by you!

“It is an absolute honour to have been voted the coolest teacher at Shiplake! Without my dog and my beard this wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you to all those that voted even if some of the explanations I received afterwards from the students are questionable”

“I’m pretty sure the voting was rigged as there is no way Mr Claridge is cooler than me - he doesn’t even own a bobble hat! But I am very happy to come second.”

“I feel very happy to come third. Although, I have to say, it is really very easy to be cool in history because history is such a cool subject. It is hardly a fair contest!!”
