The inclusion of Infinity Drive reduces handle rotation torque by a maximum of 30% when compared to the previous series. Heat Sink Drag features in the 10000 and 14000 sizes to reduce the amount of heat transferred to the drag washers and line during the fight. The X-Protect seal and labyrinth structure repels water intrusion, with the line roller and clutch assembly, the mechanism is more than ten times more durable according to Shimano internal tests.

Light and Powerful Winding With Infinity Drive, the pinion gear inner does not make contact with the main shaft, as highsliding bushing supports the main shaft and sliding resistance is reduced.

In addition to this, a special skidding coating on the main shaft helps to further reduce sliding resistance. Infinity Drive cuts handle rotation torque by about 30 per cent in comparison to the conventional system, and makes the reel more powerful. This enables anglers to wind more aggressively, even under heavy load.

The ‘Heat Sink Panel’, where the heat generated by drag is released, stops any decrease in drag performance, due to thermal sagging, by around 50 per cent.

The ‘Insulation Sheet’, which blocks heat transfer to the spool, prevents spool temperatures from increasing by around 30 per cent.

Built with Shimano’s High Response Solid blank and Taftec rod tips, the Salty Advance rods are light, sharp and powerful. These quality materials are super sensitive, yet sturdy, rod tips will make for awesome lure fishing.

At 8’3”, the Egi rod perfect for sending out long casts and sharp enough to work the jigs back effectively. The Rock Fish 7’6” model is light and powerful which is what you need when dealing with fish around the rocks.
