Food plays multiple roles in our lives. It can be a symbol of a person's or a nation's heritage and identity, or it can be a vehicle for cultural exchange and collision.

Singapore's hawker centres are one such place of exchange and collision in food. However, with the development of the society, the space of the original hawker centres has gradually become difficult to support the needs of modern people, and the backward hawker centres have gradually declined after the impact of the epidemic.

This project upgrades the old hawker centre, re-planning the layout of the stalls and adjusting the business modules to promote its integration with the needs of the modern society, and to provide a better environment for food trading and a space for cultural exchanges.

Hawker Centers
The weather in Singapore is hot and humid, and many people are not in the habit of cooking at home, and eating at hawker centres has become one of their daily lifestyles.
The huge demand for people is the main reason why hawker centres havebeen able to survive for a long time.
Singapore's clean-up of street vendors dates back to the 50s of the last century. In 1950, the British colonial government established the Hawker Advisory Committee to address the health and social problems caused by street vendors. In 1968, it took a year for the government to register the hawkers and issue them temporary licences. In 1971, the government really had plans to start building hawker centres. At that time,the government issued icences to hawkers, moved them into rental stalls in hawker centres, and began to ban illegal street hawkers. In 1986, after the Government completed the construction of hawker centres,the construction of hawker centres was no longer constructed. It was not until 2011 that the goverment announced the construction， of 10 more hawker centres over the next decade, with the new HDB estates preferred. However, Singapore's hawker centers still face challenges with aging infrastructure and inadequate functionality.
Maxwell Food Centre in Singapore has been around since the 1950s. At first, it was just a place where street vendors and hawkers sold food. Because it became so popular, the government created a proper space for these vendors.Maxwell Food Centre was a traditional wet market in the 50's before it became a hawker centre. It wasn't until the 80s that the government transformed it into a hawker centre.However, with the development of the times, the transformation of the market at that time gradually revealed many problems, making it difficult for people to carry out food and beverage activities here, and the upgrading of hawker centers was imminent.
The Maxwell Food Centre is located near Ox Carriage Water, close to Chinatown, which is famous for its tourism, as well as many commercial buildings and residential areas. It serves a wide range of people, such as tourists from all over the world, office workers and local people.
The roof is too airtight to affect air circulation and doesn’t have enough natural light.

New York's crime rate remains high, not only because the city system feeds all kinds of criminal actvity, but also because rst-tme o enders fail to get a real prison educaton and go back to crime.
In ew ork ity's traditonal prison system, violence and punishment are the only means of educaton, but this does not allow criminals to truly realise the error of their ways, and only responds to violence with violence. The remote locaton of traditonal prisons and the lack of social educaton not only severely weaken inmates' connecton to society, making them apathetc, but also depriving them of the ability to reintegrate into society.
In this project, we explore how to reintegrate social resources and educaton methods to build a new prison rehabilitaton system to help inmates deeply re ect on their mistakes, reduce recidivism rates and help inmates gain the ability to re-adapt to society, thus e ectvely contributng to social security and stability.

The third section, at the top of the building, ers the highest security and isolation. Its primary function is to house high-security inmates, providing essential spaces for living and recreation. The experience of living above the city is designed to evoke in inmates a longing to return to the ground and reintegrate into society.
The second section is located in the main body of the building, primarily serving as the housing area for minor ofenders and the main activity zone for inmates. This includes areas for work, recreation, and training, making it the most active part of the prison.
Better integration into society
Through integrated architectural design and humanized space design, the prison system aims to help prisoners rehabilitate themselves, complete their sentences, and prepare them for reintegration into society. The core objective is to reduce the recidivism rate and promote social harmony

Teeth are the hardest organ in the human body, they are both a defence and a weapon, a symbol of strength, dignity and security. ut people seldom pay atenton to the tooth itself on a daily basis, unless it starts to become in amed and painful, a ectng their lives, and then they start to pay atenton to its protecton.
st century hina, with the contnuous development of its material living conditons, dental disease is gradually becoming a nightmare of pain for the people.
In this project, I try to use architectural space as a means to translate the morphological changes experienced by the teeth in the process of growth into a spatal language, to interpret the emotonal feelings of people accompanying the process of tooth replacement, so as to make people feel the importance of the teeth in the lives of human beings and to stmulate them to be aware of the importance of tooth protecton.
Teeth are extremely important to human beings. However, with the development of human society and changes in dietary structure, dental diseases are becoming more and more common, but this has not increased people's awareness of dental protection.

1The dislocation of the wall is used to create a zigzag shuttle tour path, which prolongs the duration of the space experience and increases the interest.
2The display window of the cross-arched doorway emphasizes the sense of order and unity of the sculpture exhibition space, which contrasts with the gallery space of artistic freedom.
3The main entrance changes through the size of the tunnel path, and the desire is suppressed first, giving people a feeling of entering another time and space

Hope for the Vezo
Workshop Design Based on Toilet Space

The Vezo are an indigenous people of Madagascar who live a traditonal and primitve life based on shing. s they live by the sea, they can't live, eat or sleep without the sea. The lack of toilet facilites has made them dependent on the sea even for excreton. These unprocessed and unrecycled excreta are the biggest culprits of water polluton, rampant diseases and the sudden decline of biological resources.
In this project, I hope to improve the living environment of the e o people with limited water resources by introducing the image of the reef as a protectve and safe space to build a water recycling toilet workshop that combines the space for various labour needs. Here people will not only be able to carry out water-demanding actvites and dispose of excreta safely and cleanly, but also use them to generate new energy for sustainable development.

The shing village of betania is a small village preserving a primitve way of life, located south of urundava on the west coast of adagascar, across the sea from the o ambi ue hannel. ependent on well water and natural resources, its more than , inhabitants make their living by shing and selling sh, far from modernisaton and therefore lacking basic electricity, running water and cleaning e uipment.
The primitve way of life has led the shermen to practce open defecaton on the beaches and near the reefs, where their faeces and urine are discharged into the sea and exposed to the land with the tdes, pollutng the water supply and causing the spread of diseases.

This is a competton entry for the energy efficiency retro t of rural buildings. In this project, we optmise the thermal insulaton performance of the original village building by using green and low-carbon building technology to reduce its indoor and outdoor temperature di erence, improve the light and air permeability of the house, and reduce energy consumpton.
Urban Design
This is an urban design project in the junior year. In this project, by re-planning the paths through the city park and placing architectural installatons related to uhan's culture, the project aims to revive cit ens' memories of uhan, integrate traditonal culture into their daily lives, and inspire new vitality in Wuhan's waterfront parks.

This is a project to transform old materials on campus. y researching the characteristcs of di erent waste materials and redesigning them, we actvate the lost space by transforming it with artstc means.
Landscape Design
This is a landscape course design for senior year. In this project, we used Rhino and Grasshopper to simulate the image of a tree to generate shaped columns, to generate a landscape corridor bridge installaton that adapts to the elevaton di erence of the site, and to create the feeling of a wooded area.
