Youth Basketball League Assessment Grades 1-8

All basketball participants enrolling in Bitty Basketball, Co-Ed Basketball, Inter-District 5th-6th Grade Boys Basketball, or InterDistrict 7th-8th Grade Boys Basketball are REQUIRED to attend the league basketball assessment. Volunteer Warrenville basketball coaches will assess your basketball skills. These assessments will help us form balanced teams in the Bitty, Co-Ed, and Inter-District Boys Basketball Leagues. DW

Bitty Basketball League Grades 1-2

This league has been designed to introduce boys and girls to fundamental skill development through organized practices and games. At this age level, players will play on 8 foot baskets and use a junior sized basketball. All players will receive an end of season trophy and graduating 2nd graders will receive a brand new basketball. Players are required to attend the Mandatory Skills Assessment on January 9th at 6:45pm at the Recreation Center Gym in order to participate. Volunteer coaches also help referee games. No records or scores are kept, and equal participation is a must. All volunteer head and assistant coaches must attend a mandatory coaches meeting on January 9th at 5:30pm at the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center. DW Location: Recreation Center Gym

Co-Ed Youth Basketball League Grades 3-4

The Co-Ed Youth Basketball League will offer weekly games played in Warrenville and Winfield. Players are required to attend the mandatory Skills Assessment on December 12th at 6:45pm at the Recreation Center in order to participate. All volunteer head and assistant coaches must attend a mandatory coaches meeting at the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center on December 12th at 5:30pm. Boys Inter-District Basketball League Grades 5-6

The Boys Inter-District Basketball League offers games against teams from Warrenville, Carol Stream, and Winfield Park Districts. Games will be on Saturdays with weekly evening practices. Actual game and practice times will be scheduled once the teams are formed. Players are required to attend the Mandatory Skills Assessment on December 5th at 6:45pm at the Recreation Center in order to participate. All volunteer head and assistant coaches must attend a mandatory coaches meeting at the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center Conference Room on Tuesday, December 5th at 5:30pm. Each member of your team ages 21+ will receive one pint at Two Brothers (year round non-specialty Core Two Brothers Beers) following each game.

Men’s 12-Inch Fall Softball League Ages 18+

This recreational league will be run in a “round robin” format, followed by an end of season tournament. A $100 deposit will be collected at the time of registration. Full payment must be received no later than the captain’s meeting. Completed team rosters are due to the scorekeeper prior to your second game. A trophy or cash will be awarded to league and tournament champs. A $10 non-resident fee per player will be assessed with a maximum of $60 per team. Make-up games may be scheduled on days other than the regularly scheduled days of the week. Teams must register at the Recreation Center or by phone at 630.393.7279. Mandatory captains meeting will be held August 16th at 7:30pm at the Warrenville Community Building Gym. DW
