Youth Sports Leagues General Information

Requests for teams, players, practice days, and coaches are not guaranteed. A $10 nonrefundable fee will be charged per player for registration taken after the registration deadline. Late registration will be accepted on a space-available basis and are not guaranteed placement on teams or accommodation of special requests. Jerseys will not be guaranteed for the first game for any accepted late registrations.

Volunteer coaches are always welcomed! Anyone interested in coaching should contact the park district at 630.393.7279.

Youth Fall Soccer League Grades K-8

Sign up now for fall soccer action! This volunteer-coached program introduces the fundamentals of playing soccer through weekly practices and an eight-game schedule that emphasizes proper technique, knowledge of rules, participation, sportsmanship, and fun. Players are assigned to teams based on their grade entering the 2023/2024 school year. Players will be contacted by their coach after they have been assigned to a team. Teams can begin to practice the week of August 21st. Rosters are final once released to the Volunteer Coach. Jerseys and socks are included in the registration fee. All volunteer head and assistant coaches must attend a mandatory coaches meeting at the Warrenville Community Building Gym on August 16th at 6pm. DW

new Western Suburban Warriors Girls Basketball Tournament Team Tryout

Grades 6-7

Come tryout for the Western Suburban Warriors Girls Tournament Basketball Team. The Warriors are looking for the best basketball players in the area to develop their game and work with some of the best coaches, including Michael Cimino, Varsity Assistant Coach at Kaneland High School. Play in 8 weekend tournaments (minimum of 16 games) all over the area from September-November. Join us for a fun and competitive season! Pre-registration is required prior to attending the tryout. Player eligibility based on their grade entering the 2023/2024 school year. DW

Spartan Boys Travel Basketball Tryouts Grades 4-8

Come tryout for Spartan Boys Travel Basketball! Spartan Boys

Travel Basketball program prides itself on developing well rounded players not only in skill, but strategy and competitive spirit. Teams will compete in the Chicagoland Youth Basketball Network League (CYBN) with an opportunity to compete in tournament play as well. Weekly practices will be well organized with a heavy focus on skill training and overall team organization. Pre-registration is required prior to attending the tryout. Player eligibility based on their grade entering the 2023/2024 school year. DW

Youth Floor Hockey League Grades K-5

Floor Hockey games will consist of three, twelve-minute periods in a 4v4 format (including goalie). Requests for teams, players, coaches, are not guaranteed. Volunteer coaches are always welcomed and needed. Anyone interested in coaching should contact the park district at 630.393.7279. No records or scores are kept, and equal participation is a must. Teams will have the option to practice up to once a week if they desire. A park district team t-shirt is included in the registration fee. Each player will be required to bring and wear his or her own shin-guards. Park District hockey sticks and goggles will be provided and used by all players. DW Class will not meet on: 11/25 and 12/9
