The story of Tony is exciting to me personally. It’s exciting because today Tony is a leader. It’s also exciting because he is also a personal friend today. Most exciting because Tony is a man committed to Christ and his family. The story of Tony could have been tragic. It was certainly heading that way. Two things happened to him while he was at Sheridan House and these are our two goals for all the teens who come to live here. Tony came to Christ and he learned how to be a responsible individual.
...we want to take them from boys to men... Men who have the personal discipline to lead a family by serving their family.
When a teen comes to Sheridan House our goal is to introduce them to their Heavenly Father and then train them to have the discipline to make the choices God would have them make. In other words, Tony working at Sheridan House after we want to take them college graduation from boys to men … men who have the personal discipline to lead a family by serving their family. That doesn’t happen automatically in our culture. It takes training. Tony and literally thousands of other boys and girls have received that training. Many of you have helped to make that training possible. Thank you for helping Sheridan House train the next generation of leaders like Tony.

community as a police officer with the Davie Police Department. Tony says the best thing he received from his years at Sheridan House is a faith in Christ and a strong work ethic. He says his greatest takeaway from Charleston Southern was Linda,
