Danny went from doing very poorly in school and very disrespectful to his single parent mom. How did that happen? An interview with Danny’s mom tells the story: Question: How long have you been a part of the Sheridan House Ministry? Danny’s Mom: “We have been a part of Sheridan House since 2011.” Question: How did you find out about Sheridan House? Danny’s Mom: “Danny’s grandmother told us about Sheridan House. She had a friend whose son was helped through Sheridan House.”
Danny’s Mom: “I see him process situations differently. Danny no longer shows defiance or disrespect when he responds to questions. I see him work through whatever he is facing. I love the fact that we get so many compliments from his teachers regarding his behavior. Now his report card reads “what a joy Danny is to have in class”. While at Sheridan House Danny had three report cards in row with straight A’s. He went from hating school to now going off to college to major in engineering. A miracle!”

Question: How has Sheridan House blessed you and your family over the years? Danny’s Mom: “Sheridan House has blessed us by giving our loving son back to us. The Single Parent Ministry has blessed my family through the Backto-School events, Parent Training Seminars, the Thanksgiving and the clothing boutique. As a family, we have also been blessed through the counseling center. The single mom events have been such a huge blessing and that’s why Danny, as a young adult, has started volunteering at Sheridan House. Question: What has the time spent living at Sheridan House done for Danny?
Question: Speaking of miracles, has your involvement with Sheridan House helped develop your relationship with the Lord?
Danny’s Mom: “Absolutely! As a family we started going back to church regularly. We volunteer more at church functions as well as assisting our church in feeding the homeless.” Want to really make America great again? It’s not about big government…It’s all about giving the next generation the tools to reach their God-Given Potential! Leaders MUST KNOW God personally and have the discipline to follow God intentionally! There are countless more “Danny’s” out there.
