As we learn to trust God and acknowledge
Him, Proverbs 3:6 says, “He will make our paths straight.” That not only means guidance or direction, it also means God removes the obstacles. For 48 years God has faithfully removed obstacles for Sheridan House and we are so pleased to let you know we are ready to build again! Thanks to a few incredibly generous donors, the remaining roads at Sheridan House were paved this summer, literally paving the way for the addition of several housing units for families actively participating in our single mom’s ministry. Our Single Mom Ministry offers individualized and intensive training in areas such as finances, parenting, resume preparation and interviewing skills, meal planning on a budget, appropriate dress, and more. Our goal is to equip single moms with the training and knowledge necessary to succeed in life. Rather than simply supplying a “handout,” we offer single moms a “hand up”.
This is God using Sheridan House to remove obstacles – making paths straight. This will be an incredible journey and blessing to the moms and their children as these homes will impact generation after generation of families.
The $25 specialty plate is tax-deductible and directly helps the children and families served daily by Sheridan House Family Ministries.
