Senior Prep Welcome to Year 5

Sherfield School
Sherfield on Loddon, Hook, HANTS, RG27 oHU

Partington acher in s 5.1

Hello, my name is Mrs Kimberley Partington, though I’m more commonly known as Kim. I was born and raised in South Africa, where I completed my education and began my teaching career in 2012. Time has truly flown by, and I can honestly say it has been an incredibly rewarding journey so far.

In August 2021, my husband and I made the exciting move to the United Kingdom with our eldest son, Benjamin, who is now nearly six years old. Our second son, Joshua, was born here in the UK and is currently four and a half. Both of my boys attend Sherfield Nursery, so you may spot them around the school from time to time. We also have a beloved French Bulldog named Franklin, who is very much a part of our family.

I have a deep passion for travelling and value quality time with my family. Having had the opportunity to explore many parts of the world, I believe these experiences have enriched my personal growth and positively influenced my teaching practice.

After spending some cherished time at home with my children, I joined Sherfield School in September 2022. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of teaching across both the Nursery and Prep departments. This broad experience has provided me with a well-rounded understanding of the Sherfield journey, and I am thrilled to continue being part of this wonderful community as your child’s class teacher for the upcoming academic year.

A few fun facts about me:

My favourite colour is green.

I love the summer season.

My favourite animal is the giraffe.

I have a fear of heights and snakes.

Three words that best describe me: happy, kind, and friendly. I look forward to an exciting and successful year ahead!

I hope this booklet will help you to get to know Year 5 if you have any questions you can email me on k.partington@sherfieldschool.co.uk
