Junior Prep Welcome to Year 3

Sherfield School
Sherfield on Loddon, Hook, HANTS, RG27 oHU

et Ms Warren Teacher in Year 3

My name is Ms Warren, and I have had the pleasure of teaching Year 4 at Sherfield School for the past two years. Prior to joining the Sherfield community, I spent the majority of my 16-year teaching career in London, at an international independent school. Transitioning to Sherfield has been a truly rewarding experience.

I have specialised in early reading, science and performing arts and have a keen interest in history. I am also currently deputy head of Lydney House and enjoy supporting all the houses and promoting our Sherfield values within the house system. I also currently teach drama here at Sherfield School and love the creativity that comes with that. I enjoy instilling a love of drama in children and it’s wonderful to see their confidence grow in being able to speak in front of an audience from a young age. As a child, I performed regularly in West End shows and at the Royal Albert Hall. These experiences continue to inspire my teaching and passion for the arts.

Some fun facts about me:

My favourite colour: Blue.

My favourite animal: White tiger.

My favourite sports are: football and tennis.

I speak French

I love movies, musicals, travelling and British history.

I enjoy hiking and playing tennis with my daughter who is currently in Year 1 at Sherfield School.

I ride a motorcycle

I play the piano and the guitar.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you all in September. Until then, I wish you a joyful and restful summer holiday.

I hope this booklet will help you to get to know year 3. If you have any questions, you can email me on J.Warren@sherfieldschool.co.uk
