STEVENSONS
The main Sherfield school uniform is available from Stevensons in Reading, items marked with an asterix (*) may only be purchased from Stevensons. Items not marked with an asterix may be purchased anywhere or from Stevensons.

Click and Collect is available 10am- 4pm Monday - Friday (exc bank holidays).
Please only visit the store to collect your order once you have received an email confirming your order is ready.
ON-SITE SECOND-HAND UNIFORM SHOP
The school has a uniform shop onsite that sells second-hand uniform and is run by parent volunteers from 'Friends of Sherfield'.
This uniform shop will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 8.15am until 8.45am and from 4.00pm to 4.30pm. They are also opening by appointment. Please drop us an email to uniform@sherfieldschool.co.uk to arrange a suitable time.
PLEASE NOTE
Summer uniform is worn from the beginning of the summer term until the end of the first half of the autumn term. It is optional and weather dependent in the first half of the summer and autumn terms.
All items of school uniform and school equipment must be clearly & securely named.
Shoes must be black, polishable leather. Patent shoes, trainers, ballet styles shoes, shoes with wedge heels or exceptionally thick soles are not acceptable. Shoes that contain hidden toys or have flashing lights are not permitted. Velcro shoes are essential if they are unable to tie laces.
Sherfield school provides art and science overalls for the children to wear during the relevant lessons.

PLEASE NOTE
On the days that Pre-Reception have PE or Outdoor Education they must come to school in their PE kit.
They will have four sessions of PE and two sessions of Outdoor Education every two weeks (which may fall on the same day as PE) Therefore if your child is full time they will be in PE kit for half of the days and school uniform for the other half.
Their spare clothes bags can contain plain white polos.

All Sixth Form students are expected to present themselves as professional, smart, role models that represent the school with pride at all times Make up and jewellery should be discreet and not cause comment.
FORMAL DRESS

A matching two- or three-piece suit (skirt or trousers) in plain, dark/muted colours.
Sixth form tie, or Sherfield Reward tie Sixth Form ties are available for purchase form the Friends of Sherfield Shop at school for a fee of £7.50
Formal, smart shoes which must be kept clean
WORKING SCHOOL DAY
A dark, muted suit jacket with a dress, matching skirt or matching suit trousers, as appropriate.
Suit jackets must be worn at all times when moving around the school.
Formal collared and buttoned shirt or blouse (no polo shirts).

Optional: Plain and dark (no visible branding) v-neck jumper, that should fit smartly under a suit jacket.

Sports clothing may only be worn for sporting occasions and may not be worn during the regular working day.
*Gender-neutral and non-binary pupils should feel comfortable to make a thoughtful and considered choice about the clothes worn at school, but within the parameters outlined above.
**All pupils will have the freedom and security to dress appropriately according to religious conviction, following an explanation to, and approval from, the Head of Sixth Form.
