Hypnotherapy Hypnotherapy is a very old therapy and has been used for hundreds of years. It has developed and improved alongside the neuroscience and our growing understanding of the brain, our emotions, and behaviours. Clinical hypnotherapy uses advanced methods of hypnosis, deep relaxation and visualisation to help people: • alleviate medical or psychological problems where strong emotions are a factor • to make positive changes to their lifestyle and behaviours

Andrew (Andy) Hill has a Diploma is Solution-focused Hypnotherapy awarded by CPHT Plymouth, as well as a diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, awarded by The National Council for Hypnotherapy. He is also a registered member of the Association of Solution Focused Hypnotherapists. Face to face and zoom appointments are available. To find out more about hypnotherapy please visit Andy’s website www.behypnotherapy.co.uk or contact him directly by Email: andy@behypnotherapy.co.uk

• adopt a more positive outlook and perspective Hypnotherapy recognises the power of your mind and helps you use your mind and imagination to make the changes you want to make. It is respectful and empowering and sees you as a resourceful, fascinating and capable person.

Reflexology Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing: reducing stress in people’s lives can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. It is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, correspond with different areas of the body. Elaine Copping is a Member of the Association of Reflexologists. She is fully qualified and insured, offering treatments in Somerset and North Dorset. Elaine trained in 2008 at The Precision School of Reflexology in Devon. The nature of precision reflexology is that it works with the subtle energy of the body. The gentlest of touches helps clients to relax more and be open and receptive. To find out more about reflexology, please visit Elaine’s website www.signaturereflexology.co.uk or contact her directly by email: elaine@signaturereflexology.co.uk.

Speech Language and Communication Therapy Provision - Caragh Bowden I have 17 years of experience working with preschool and school age children/ young people with a variety of speech, language, and communication difficulties across a range of settings. I initially practised in the NHS, and more recently set up and delivered provision for Children with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs in two school settings. I am passionate about my work as a Speech, Language, and Communication Therapist. Communication skills are key to every aspect of life, and I am excited to now have my independent practice which enables me to offer a flexible, child centred, and bespoke provision for each young person and family I am fortunate to support. I also work closely with other outside agencies and specialists where applicable to the young person to ensure that their needs are considered and met holistically. 6

Services Provided: • initial advice based on child’s history and presenting needs (either face to face or remotely) • face to face assessment and therapy (therapy can be 1:1 or small group depending on what is deemed most appropriate) • follow up liaison and support to integrate communication targets worked on in therapy into the child/young person’s everyday communicative environments • indirect therapy which entails working closely with a child/young person’s key support/educational team to develop their communication skills • recommendations for onward referral to other agencies or specialists (I will facilitate with this where possible) • joint up working with external agencies where applicable

ADHD/Neurodiversity Coaching for Students - Caroline Carrier People with ADHD and other neurodivergent profiles do things a little differently. Sometimes, we put all our effort into trying to do things ‘the way they are supposed to be done’ and this doesn’t work for us. We can end up feeling like a failure, or that things are so hard and the results so far off where we want to be, that we may stop trying. When we use our ADHD strengths, we do amazing things, but we often don’t acknowledge or celebrate our successes. We run straight into the next ‘problem’ or ‘struggle’, so we can feel and tell ourselves we are not capable or successful. I help young people notice their successes and learn from them, bringing new tools to their current challenges and working out how to succeed their way, rather than trying to fit themselves into doing things ‘the right way’. Coaching is a creative thinking partnership to help you reach your

goals: this could mean developing skills and interests, engaging with and enjoying school work, managing time and completing assignments, managing big emotions and impulsivity. I am an ICF/ADDCA certified ADHD/neurodiversity Coach and a Cambridge graduate, qualified teacher and former Head of Learning Support. I work with neurodivergent teenagers to understand how their unique brain wiring affects their thoughts, behaviours and feelings, how to do more of what they are brilliant at and reimagine challenges, using their ADHD strengths and understanding. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s more important than ever to pause and reflect on what it means to truly care—for ourselves and for each other. Wellbeing isn’t just the absence of illness; it’s the presence of physical, mental, emotional, and social health. It’s about thriving, not just surviving. Physical wellbeing means more than eating well or staying active—it’s about listening to our bodies, getting enough rest, and making consistent, healthy choices. Mental wellbeing involves checking in with ourselves, seeking support when needed, and practicing self-compassion. Emotional wellbeing is about understanding our feelings, embracing vulnerability, and finding joy in small moments. And social wellbeing reminds us that connection matters—a kind word or a shared laugh can go a long way. Wellbeing doesn’t require perfection—it’s about progress, presence, and balance. Take time to recharge, support each other, and don’t forget to have fun. Sometimes, laughter really is the best medicine.
