Site Element Translation The site is located in changchun City, Jilin Province first automobile Factory historical and cultural block. Based on the continuation of the historical context of the district, the design hopes to reshape the vitality of the historic district by intervening in the acupuncture style of hotel architecture design.

Attractions and Accessibility In the early stage of the design, the original scenic spots and accessibility of FAW historic Block were investigated, and the tour routes inside the block were integrated and reshaped. At the same time, the waterfront park at the end of G of each tour line inside the block was selected as the site of the hotel, which became the climax of the tour inside the whole historic block.

The total construction area of 12,450 square meters, a total area of 3,450 square meters, building density of 38%, building total height of 16.6m, site green rate of 45%. The design hopes to start with the "sense of habitat", to discuss the acquisition of the sense of habitat from the original roof, courtyard lane and waterfront, and to extract its elements and translate them into its own architectural vocabulary. The whole design hopes to use the roof, the courtyard and the river as the key words, and give the people in the building a sense of habitat with the language of architecture.

Little Dream Renovation of stage in the old city
Group work Architecture design Time:Fall 2020 Location:Taizhou,Zhejiang Province,China
Site Location location is located in taizhou city, zhejiang province sanmen county center stage on the northern side of the people's square, pedestrian street. The left and right sides of the platform are shops along the street facing the pedestrian street, and the back side is the old block. The stage becomes a node at the boundary of the old and new blocks. And compared to the busy pedestrian street and a wide variety of shops along the street, in one hundred, located in the center of the old city is especially an empty stage.

"Theatre-watching" has faded out of modern life, and "stage" has gradually become a cultural symbol. We hope that our transformation can arouse local people's feelings deep in their memories, activate this increasingly negative space, and make the Shaoxing Opera performers return to the stage with enthusiasm.

Today, drama industry gradually decline, shrinking performance groups, attendance decline year by year. "No one wants to see" makes the opera actor inner produced "denial", a growing number of Chinese opera actors don't want to go to show, once left their hearty stage. So, we're thinking, what do they need? "Yue opera in your career, what is your most memorable?" And they answered, the most memorable thing is the moment when Empathy with the Audience, in that moment they get the audience to give their Identity.

Aging as a Radical Problem With the developemnt of society, it rarely surprises us any any more that Tianjin has entered a highly aging society. 15% of the registered population are over 65, which ranking the third in China.

Aging is also a severe problem all over the world that until 2050, over 60% of the global popoulation would be over 60, and 30% of them would be over 80. We hope that our design can become a paradigm and provide a universal coping strategy for the aging society, both today and in the future.
Due to the increasing urbanization, more and more young people from rural areas are moving to city but their parents are left in their hometown since they prefer a familiar surrounding to live in. At the same time, for young people, taking care of their parents in the city will be a huge burden. How to find the coincidence point between the two has become the first problem we face.

Homogenization We are looking for young people to the fast-paced life and the old sort of slow life. "The Urban inertial regulator“ provides the positive interaction between the old and the young, young people can also experience the slower pace of life, so as to reduce their stress.
Slower Pace of Life
The Urban inertial regulator provides the elderly with a shelter to get out of their isolated apartment and share their life with their peers. The diversed activities in this building will also attract young people from the famillies of the elderlys and therefore join this big family.The time bank is a trading mechanism which allows the young people to earn and save "time dollars". This money can be expend by using others' time when they get pld and need to be cared. It also gives them priority to use the space first than other visitors.

Three different living Spaces are designed. Category A is A studio for young people or independent elderly people, and Category B is A house for elderly people and their families or volunteers. Type C is for families. Each type with a roof farms, which separated by a slope at the same time, so that they can share the scene without disturbing each other.

Links betweeb the Young and the Elderly Sharing places with bridges are scattered among the community and link the life between the elderlys and young people. These sharing spaces are mainly activity space for the elderlys in day to day life. However, in certain times, the roofs open and rotate, which creates bridges between buildings. When the bridge slowly turns the young people could get in the roof bridge and use the space together with the elderlys.

This design first puts the core Shared space in the center, will be around daily path, with must-see places as a path to the destination, let the people can surprise found in daily walk in core Shared space, achieve a "publicity column" and "posters" effects.
Different paths were separated between the elderly and the young. The elderly daily slow living space in the underlying core space, and auxiliary space in daily life around the core space, while the young man's activity space and auxiliary space on second floor.
Thirdly, in this design, on the basis of path separation, each daily auxiliary function space is separated and separated on the plane. When young people go to a function space, they find the core shared space but cannot enter it, which achieves an "unreachable" effect.

[18:00] When the ebb comes to the lowest point, the light fills in the whole wall ,it’s the time for the fishermen to come back . Then their families on the shore play the Da Zou Gu and began to the dance carnival with the glow of the rock.
