The Start of Everett Rovers FC The club was formed as Everett Rovers FC in March 1997 when a group of local parents decided to go it alone and move away from Herons Youth FC. They held their first meeting at The Bill Everett Community Centre in Watford.

The Community Centre was officially named in honour of Bill Everett a local man who was well known and respected in the Watford area and served as a local councillor.

Bill’s valued contributions across Watford were recognised widely by many which led him to eventually take up the prestigious position of Mayor of Watford in 1974. He was an avid football fan and became the President of Watford Football Club. He was both a huge Hornet fan who also loved Watford very much! Everett Rovers FC was born!

Where Are they Now? Since 1997 the journey has been both challenging and uplifting with many and various people supporting its development to where they are today.

They are an inclusive and progressive club that facilitates local children’s development through football in a positive, friendly and safe environment.

They believe that children should have the opportunity to play and learn through football helping them to develop their personal, social and physical skills. All the coaches are FA accredited.

They currently have an active membership of over 200 children and it is increasing. Their fantastic facilities allow for growth so the doors are always open!

Everett Rovers are at the heart of Watford located just off the A41 in Dodd Road which is very near to the M25 and M1.

Not only are the facilities at the centre of Watford there is easy access and parking. The club consist of 7 playing pitches, 2 dressing rooms, good storage areas and a gem of a clubhouse too!

They can organise and entertain local events and occasions and have a well stocked and fully licensed bar.

We are Everett Rovers FC and we care!

THIS WEEK IN CLUB HISTORY THIS TIME LAST YEAR WE WERE IN SENIOR LEAGUE CUP ACTION AGAINST KELVEDON HATCH. THERE WAS DOUBLE CELEBRATIONS THAT DAY, AS NOT ONLY DID WE SEE A 4-0 VICTORY, BUT IT WAS A DAY WITHOUT CAPTAIN LUKE WILLIAMSON WHO MANAGED TO QUICKLY DROP THE KIT OFF BEFORE RETURNING TO HIS NEWLY BORN CHILD
