PARENT WEEKEND Oct. 2-4, 2026
Principal’s Welcome It is a joy to welcome our parents, families, and friends to Shenandoah Valley Academy for Parent Weekend. We are grateful that you have taken the time to be here and share in this special experience with us. For our students, SVA has become a place where they are learning, growing, building friendships, discovering their gifts, and learning what it means to choose Jesus and live as His disciples. This weekend gives us an opportunity to celebrate their journey and give you a glimpse into the community they call home. Our theme for this school year comes from Psalm 34:8: “Taste and see that the Lord is good...” What a beautiful invitation—to taste and see. We see God’s goodness in the friendships our students develop, the staff who invest in their lives, opportunities to learn and serve, moments of worship and prayer, and the countless ways He works on our campus each day. We invite you to taste and see God’s goodness at SVA. Taste it in the joy of spending time with your student. See it in their growth. Experience it through worship, fellowship, music, family testimonies, good food, and the many opportunities that make this campus special. Thank you for being part of the SVA family and for partnering with us as we walk alongside your students. We are so glad you are here. Taste and see that the Lord is good!
