OPEN ENROLLMENT
T
his is the time of year when Shell Point renews all group insurance including health, dental, life and long-term disability as well as voluntary benefits such as short-term disability, accident and hospital indemnity. This year, we have made the decision not to make any changes to any of the group or voluntary insurance plans. We have done this so that you have one less worry on your plate during this challenging time. You will not have to go to the benefits enrollment site, won’t have to choose a new plan and you will not have an increase in premium for the insurance selections you have now. This is another way for Shell Point to show how much we care about you and the challenges you may be facing at this time. What does this mean? If you want to keep all of your current group and/or insurance coverage as it is today, you don’t have to do anything. All of your current coverage will carry over to the plan year
that begins on July 1, 2020. But – if you want or need to make any changes to your insurance coverage such as switching health plans, adding/dropping coverage, adding/dropping a dependent or spouse, or increasing life insurance coverage, you must log in through Paycor between May 18th and May 31st. Select “Benefits” under the “Me” tab on your home screen. All changes will be effective on July 1st. Again, if you do nothing, your current coverage will remain unchanged when the new plan year begins on July 1, 2020. We are pleased to be in a position to offer the same benefits package for this coming plan year. Should you have any questions, please contact Human Resources at 454-2162. These times of uncertainty can be difficult. It’s important that you know that Shell Point has your back! We wanted to make you aware of several benefit offerings available to you during this time.
