On behalf of the College Council, I am pleased to introduce the Shellharbour Anglican College Strategic Plan 2026-2028, a roadmap that reflects who we are and who we are becoming as a Christ-centred learning community.
We believe learning is most powerful when it is purposeful, rigorous and inclusive, nurturing each student to grow academically, spiritually and personally. Alongside academic excellence, character formation and service remain central, equipping young people to live with integrity, compassion and a genuine desire to serve others.
The Strategic Plan 2026-2028 reflects the faithful dedication of our staff and leadership, and our ongoing partnership with families, as together we seek to prepare students to flourish and contribute positively in a complex and changing world, trusting in God’s guidance each step of the way.

Shellharbour Anglican College exists to nurture young people who will live with hope and purpose in an ever- changing world. As we look toward the next chapter of our story, our Vision is clear: everybody learns, everybody serves, everybody grows.
The world our children are stepping into is more complex than ever before. In this moment, we honour the heart of who we are while courageously renewing the structures, spaces and systems that shape learning.
Our Strategic Plan 2026-2028 sets clear priorities for this season of renewal. We will strengthen the quality and consistency of teaching across the College, while ensuring every student is challenged and supported to achieve their best. Project HP 2026 is already extending our high potential and gifted learners.
We will continue to create environments that inspire with spaces for collaboration, creativity, play and outdoor learning. We will deepen our Christ-centred heart through staff formation and a renewed Christian Worldview Curriculum. And we will unify the way we work through systems that serve people, including Project Fusion.
Our day-to-day commitments continue to strengthen culture, wellbeing, policy coherence, behaviour and faith integration. I warmly invite every family, student, and staff member to partner with us as we pursue tomorrow together, learning deeply, serving boldly and growing joyfully, in Christ.

Purpose Statement

At Shellharbour Anglican College, our commitment facing the future is to empower learners, strengthen our professional culture, and create spaces and systems that help every young person flourish.
Insight
We are a caring, faith-centred school with strong pastoral foundations, committed educators and an open campus in a natural setting, yet our current structures and environments are increasingly under strain to meet the needs of today’s learners. To thrive into 2040, we must build on our relational strengths while embracing new ways of learning, leading and optimising our campus so that every student can grow with confidence and purpose.
The case for renewal
Our students face greater complexity, digital strain and wellbeing pressures than ever before. Our staff seek clarity and cohesion. Our families expect partnership and purpose. Renewal is needed to align our structures, spaces and culture with our Christ-centred, future-ready vision.

• Progress Project Fusion to bring together key systems that support student learning, operations and communication.
• Continue to improve how our digital systems support efficiency and day-to-day College life.
• Develop digital portfolios that capture each student’s growth, learning and character.
• Establish clear expectations and tools to guide the responsible and authentic use of AI.
• Regularly review College policies to ensure they remain clear, relevant and aligned with best practice.

• Review and redesign learning spaces to ensure they are flexible and purposeful, and support the way students learn today.
• Continue to develop outdoor and experiential learning environments across the campus.
• Ensure classrooms are well-equipped, collaborative and designed for effective learning.
• Review and enhance key areas of the College, including learning and play spaces, the dam rewilding and the K Block precinct.
