Tribute to Our ( Diamond K) Legends Super Nice, Super Trader Bar, and The CW Special The building blocks of our broodmare band is definitely Super Nice and Super Trader Bar, son of Super Nice. Their trademarks over the years have been disposition and producing the truly versatile individual. They have excelled in a variety of disciplines, the roping arena, as barrel horses, at breed shows and futurities, as 4-H projects, as ranch horses showing a ton of natural cow sense, and as dependable companions and family horses. Although Super Nice and Super Trader Bar have passed, their genetics and attributes continue to live on. The CW Special was a sire that we introduced several years ago, he turned out to be an exceptional cross with our ranch raised broodmares. He, like Super and Trader, produced outstanding individuals, with great minds and versatility. He had many futurity champions in halter and western pleasure, as well sired exceptional rope horses and ranch geldings, with no end to athletic ability and cow sense. Special will be near impossible to replace, and greatly missed. His genetics will live on in our broodmares and stallions. McArthurs Geno A sire that will never be forgotten, he has been an outstanding sire. Producing exceptional ranch horses, consistent and reliable rope horses, show horses, and horses that have touched the hearts of many. His foals were always in demand and a highlight of our sale, so with heavy hearts we bid you a fond Fair well “Bud”. Tallymine Grandson of the great Salanos Peppy San, and out of a Tally Man daughter, this sires pedigree is packed full of proven performance horses, top and bottom. Tallymine has become one of our leading sires. His foals are now old enough to ride and they are just what we expected, athletic, great minds, eye appeal, and natural cow sence. Unfortunately there will no longer be any of Tallymine’s offspring. Nominated to MRCHBA Ranch Horse Futurity Foals eligible 2010- Saskatchewan 50/50 Futurity Champion was Tallys Ghost Spirit a daughter of Tallymine and Traders Ghost Spirit. She was trained and shown by John King; owners are Don and Connie McGregor of Tuxford Sk. 2013- Saskatchewan 50/50 Reserve Champion JT Tallymine Doc. This young stallion will be worked into our breeding program, keeping the Tallymine bloodlines alive.
