The Shelby County Chamber BUSINESS CONNECTIONS

Over the past few weeks weeks, our favorite restaurants, hotels, shops, salons, theaters, markets and other Shelby County businesses have seen a decline in visitors. There are, however, many constructive and responsible ways in which we can continue to support our local businesses: ushop online with Shelby County

businesses uordering food to go uusing available curbside service for our groceries & other purchases ubuying gift cards or certificates – to use TODAY, or for a later date. Gift cards & certificates = immediate cash flow…& cash flow is the lifeblood for our Shelby County businesses uwhere appropriate, tip as gen-

erously as you can Business-2-Business Resources: uHot Deals Hot Deals are a unique way to offer fellow Chamber Investors exclusive savings. Participation is free, and the program allows businesses to drive customers to purchasing their products & services. Hot deals can be found on the home page at

Birmingham Regional COVID-19 Business Impact Assessment Your Shelby County Chamber and 58, INC. are partnering with the Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA), the Birmingham Regional Economic Development Alliance and Central Six Alabama Works, in partnership with our local and state governments, to determine how our Shelby County business community is being impacted. All businesses in the seven-county Birmingham region (Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Walker, Chilton, Blount and Bibb) are being asked to take five minutes to complete this assessment to help us develop and advo-

cate for the most relevant solutions that will keep our region thriving during these uncertain times. The data you provide will only be shared with our response team of economic and workforce development partners unless you indicate otherwise. You may skip any question you prefer not to answer. The survey can be found on the Chamber’s website, shelbychamber. org. Thank you, in advance, for your time and responses. If there is anything your Chamber or 58, INC can do for you over the coming weeks, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
