WA record: Top price shedding sheep:Hercules went for $25,500 to Pip Hamersley-Everett of Tenterfield, NSW. SheepMaster thanks all bidders and under-bidders for their support. Congratulations to Philippa Hamersley-Everett of Angevin SheepMaster Stud, Tenterfield, NSW who purchased Hercules, the first Gold Standard Sire to be offered for sale. This exceptional, proven Stud Sire will have a big impact on the Angevin genetics and shedding sheep industry in western NSW and Queensland. Semen is currently being collected and is available at $30 per dose. Juan Mailhos has substantial holdings in the sheep and cattle industry in South America and is a very experienced and respected breeder. It is envisaged that he will establish a major SheepMaster stud enterprise based in Uruguay to service Argentina, Uruguay and Brazilian sheep market.
