Breeding and Marketing SheepMaster National marketing and supply arrangements for the next three years were announced this week. A total of six National Stud SheepMaster Breeders [NSSBs] in Western Australia and NSW will be the principal suppliers of rams and stud ewes for this period. They will be supported by 15 Accredited SheepMaster Breeders [ASBs] who will supply commercial rams into the market. Many ASB breeders are commercial breeders, breeding their own rams for their use. The key focus is now for our commercial breeders to develop and build numbers of lambs for the local market. Thus, our National Ram and Ewe Sale on the 5 November this year will include between1,000 and 2,000 specially selected commercial ewes for new breeders to purchase SheepMaster animals. These will be supplied by NSSB and ASB SheepMaster breeders. Please check out our recently updated website for further information.

National SheepMaster Stud Breeders Expand During 2021 SheepMaster expects to appoint 5 new NSSBs in total, in Victoria, South Australia and New Zealand making 10 in Australia and 1 in NZ.
