Diversity Work/Life Generalist for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ, President of the Latin American Cultural Organization, one of Horizon’s 9 Employee Resource Groups

Jeanette joined Horizon in 2014 as an Administrative Assistant supporting the HR Business Partner team. In February 2016, she transferred to the Talent Acquisition team as a Recruiting Coordinator where she assisted the team with the recruiting process including scheduling interviews, references, offer letters, background checks, and the onboarding process. Today, Jeanette serves as the Diversity Work/Life Generalist, supporting the DEI efforts at Horizon BCBSNJ.

In 2015, Jeanette joined the Latin American Cultural Organization (LACO) affinity group that aims to educate Horizon employees about the diversity and richness of LatinAmerican culture and heritage. Jeanette has held positions in LACO as Secretary and Vice President, and was elected President of the group in January 2020. As President of LACO, Jeanette and the team have worked together to make significant contributions to the success of Horizon and the Latin communities we serve.

Jeanette obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Peters University in May 2022. She is a mother of two children, Xavier age 13 and Carlysse age 11.
