AutoCAD Experience
AutoCAD Experience
• I am able to create 2D and 3D entities in AutoCAD • I am familiar with creating floor plans and elevations • On the previous page, I have provided two samples of computer generated work from my mechanical engineering class o The first image is the exterior of a house I designed o The second image is of the interior of that same house ▪ The layout was designed to accommodate the needs of a fourmember family ▪ The design is meant to encourage circulation throughout the house • To the right of this page, I have displayed various elevations of a chair I created in one of my design studies classes o I am familiar with moving entities from SketchUp to AutoCAD and vice versa.

SketchUp Experience
SketchUp Experience
Above is a chair I designed and created on SketchUp for a lake house. I am very familiar working with SketchUp and using it to create furniture, interiors, exteriors, etc.
Photoshop & Illustrator Experience
Photoshop & Illustrator Experience
• On the previous page I have displayed a group rendering of a timeline which was created in Illustrator and edited in Photoshop o The goal was to outline the history of the School of Human Ecology o We chose hexagons to symbolize a honeycomb shape which metaphorically represents the interconnectedness of the school and the majors it offers o The use of red was chosen to connect to University of Wisconsin-Madison as a whole by selecting the exact school colors o The timeline project shows my familiarity with lighting, scale, and design in both Photoshop and Illustrator • To the right of this page is an individual project I worked on in a design studies class o This project was done solely on Illustrator o The transformation of the flower shows my capabilities in working with pixilation, saturation, and value ▪ It also shows my knowledge with color, specifically complimentary and analogous color schemes

Tiny House Project
Tiny House Project Initially designed in SketchUp and later converted to AutoCAD files, this Tiny House model was printed from a laser cutter. The prototype was designed to accommodate a four-person family in Vanuatu. The design of the house specifically focuses on sustainability, climate, price, and acreage. Some features include green roof, water storage system, and aquaponics.
Spatial Enclosure
Featured in Design 2017 at the Ruth Davis Design Exhibition.
Spatial
Enclosure
This Hotel and Conference center was designed to show circulation throughout the building while still focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and space.
`
Functional Art
Functional Art Created with basswood and cut from a laser printer, this prototype represents a chair that doubles as both furniture and art. It was inspired by a textile from the 19th century.
Featured in Design 2017 at the Ruth Davis Design Exhibition.
