The rooms at AdventHealth South Overland Park are very open and are designed for mom to labor, deliver and recover in the same room. There is a full-size sleeper sofa for dad and other thoughtful amenities in the room. How can expectant mothers personalize their care plan?

We’ll discuss your birth plan prior to delivery to review all your options. While birth plans don’t always go to plan, the nurses at AdventHealth will strive to meet your needs and wishes whenever possible.

Meeting with the maternity navigator is important in preparing for delivery. It gives the patient a chance to see the Birth Center, complete pre-admission information, ask questions and create their birth plan for the big day.
