From Diane’s Desk...

This magazine has allowed me to meet more people and learn more new perspectives in the last year and a half, than in all four years I have been in Lima. The more I experience the true meaning of community, the more I feel connected with where I live. The people I meet, the businesses I depend on, the neighborhood I reside in, my friends and family can be seen as destinations, however I am constantly reminded that they are instead my springboard!

I hope this Fourth of July allows you to connect or re-connect with the people and place in which you live. Parades, fireworks, cook-outs, picnics, and libations are all perfect platforms for propelling our sense of community and connectedness forward.
