Expanding library’s scope

Lostant’s April Jording recently attended the Illinois Library Association’s first-ever Directors University. She’s since helped the Lostant Library join the Reaching Across Illinois Libraries System (RAILS). RAILS allows patrons access to the collections of roughly 1,300 libraries across the state. Jording is also working on plans to help attract residents into the library so they become aware of all it can offer the community. SEE STORY ON PAGE 2. Vol. 144 No. 29
