Roberts & Clark Will and Zara Roberts of Dixon announce the engagement of their daughter, Jensin E. Roberts, to Samuel W. Clark, the son of Tim and Carolyn Clark of Otsego, Minn. Jensin is a 2009 graduate of Amboy High School and a 2013 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance. She is a post-graduate student at the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, pursuing a doctorate in performance and pedagogy. Samuel is a 2008 graduate of St. Michael-Albertville and a 2012 graduate of the University of St. Thomas College of Business, with a degree in entrepreneurship. He is employed as an assistant director of admissions at the Art Institutes of Minneapolis. The couple met at the Palais Corbelli-Schoeller while both were studying in Vienna, Austria. A 2014 summer wedding is planned. Invitations will be sent.

VanDyke & Gabany Adam and Becky’s love story began approximately 2 years ago. On Aug. 25, 2012, Adam proposed and Becky said yes. That evening, Adam hosted a surprise engagement party for approximately 100 guests at Floyd’s Parlor in Springfield. Adam Keith Gabany and Becky Christine VanDyke were united in marriage at 4 p.m., April 27, 2013, at the Hoogland Center for the Arts in Springfield surrounded by family and friends. Alan Pearcy, friend of the couple, officiated. Parents of the bride are Dick and Alma VanDyke and Susan VanDyke, all of Springfield. Parents of the groom are Keith and Cindy Gabany of Dixon. Becky was a beautiful bride and Adam a handsome groom. They were attended by maid of honor, Cali McKinley, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jen LaRocca, Stephanie Mulhall, and Sarah Hunter, all friends of the bride. Adam had co-best men, his brothers, Dr. Nik and Christopher Gabany. Groomsmen were Chad
Coombs, friend of the groom and Luke Gregory, Adam’s special little brother of 7 years. Elizabeth McKinley and Ava VanDyke were adorable flower girls, both nieces of the bride. Adam wore a white bow tie that was worn 32 years ago by his father at Adam’s parent’s wedding. Becky wore a diamond necklace and bracelet, gifts from Adam’s mother, and in memory of his grandmother. The reception followed at the Firefighters Postal Lake Club in Springfield. Much love, feeling, support, and family were felt throughout the day. Adam and Becky began their new life together with a Caribbean cruise. After the honeymoon, they returned home to live happily ever after. Becky works at Memorial Hospital and Adam works for the Department of Transportation. The groom is the son of Barbara Darling of Peoria and Randy Romesburg of Mapleton. Serving as maid of honor was Mackenzie Paul, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Danielle Gullett, friend of the bride, and Christina Troxell and Sarah Darling, sisters of the groom.
