From the LCCOA

Think spring!

February is known for Valentine’s Day and President’s Day, but maybe most importantly it’s also known for Groundhog Day!

I get excited every February 2 to see whether the Pennsylvanian groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow! Why is this important, you ask? Because if he sees his shadow this means spring is right around the corner. Days of enjoying the outdoors are coming soon — but in the meantime, join us at Lee County Council on Aging for some inside fun!

There’s something for everyone when it comes to exercise at the Center! There’s no excuse not to be in shape in 2025. Your health is important to us, so stop by on Tuesdays for our fresh produce distribution (every week) and optional blood pressure reading by our volunteer, Lois Young the third Tuesday of the month. Take advantage of the free additional health benefits of LCCOA.
