2015 membership campaign starts soon Save the date for Santa’s Workshop at LCCOA Saturday, Dec. 6 Santa’s Workshop & Breakfast will be Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Dixon Senior Center and Post House Ballroom, 100 W. Second St., Dixon. Join us for breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the senior center. The cost is $3 for adults, and $1.50 for children 9 and under. Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be from 8 to 11 a.m. in the ballroom at no cost. Santa’s Workshop, with gifts to purchase, (50 cents to $3) will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. in the Post House Ballroom. Before you leave, don’t forget to pick up your reindeer food to take home and put out for the reindeer!
Become a member of Whiteside County Senior Center. Membership is the single best thing you can do every year to help us continue our programs. Membership is open to all ages and the rates are just: $20 – individual $30 – Same household with two individuals County Senior Center with programs and events helpful to the seniors and community of Whiteside County. Fifth Annual Santa’s Workshop (For kids in fourth grade and younger) 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 13, Whiteside County Senior Center Breakfast with Santa will be served from 8 to 10:30 a.m. ($3 for adults, $1.50 for children) Picture taken with Santa, printed onsite, for $2 The elves have been busy making gifts, and children love to give gifts to their Moms, Dads, family members and special people in their lives. Our workshop provides a wonderful low-cost way for kids to do their holiday shopping! Gifts range from 50 cents to $3. Children can shop with a team of special elves, and even wrap their own gifts! This is a wonderful way to teach children the gift of giving!
