The Baldwin Family 25th Anniversary
Mr. & Mrs. James Harvey Mr. and Mrs. James Ronald Harvey of Dixon will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 2, 2015. Please join us in celebrating Ron and Jan’s 60th wedding anniversary. The Harveys were married in 1955 in Rock Falls. They lived in Rock Falls (Breezy Acres) for 12 years, then moved to their farm in rural route Oregon. Ron and Jan are the parents of
Tim (Tracy) Harvey and Cayla Wolbert. They have six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren (currently). When Ron retired from NICOR and Jan from Dr. Ballard’s office, they moved to Prescott and Dewey, Arizona. They returned to Illinois in 1993, and have resided in Polo and currently at 291 Illinois Route 2, Lot 439, Dixon, IL 61021.

100th Birthday
Celebration at horse show, cake to be served at ranch On Sept. 20, 100 years ago, Dena Schabacker was born to German immigrant parents making her the youngest of eight children. She lived in the Rochelle area all of her younger years. In 1934, she married Milo Gittleson, her husband of 60 years before his passing in 1994. They had two daughters, and years later they were blessed with one grandson, and then one great-grandson and two greatgranddaughters.
In 1972, Milo and Dena bought a ranch and added a Western store which became known as Diamond G Ranch and Western Store. Diamond G has been open for the past 43 years, and still remains in operation today. On Sept. 20, 2015, we will be celebrating Dena’s 100th birthday during a scheduled horse show at Diamond G. Cake will be served between noon and 2 p.m. Come on over and help Dena celebrate this special day.

Schwarz Family Reunion The 46th annual Schwarz family reunion was Aug. 8, 2015, at Richmond Park in Lyndon. The family recorded two deaths, three births, and three marriages. The next reunion will be Aug. 13, 2016, at the park.
Beck Family Reunion The 86th Beck reunion was June 28, 2015, at Centennial Park in Coleta. Thirty-two family members were present for the potluck meal, short meeting, and ice cream. Odette Nusbaum, 8 months, was the youngest, and Florence Pfundstein, 90, was the oldest. They each received $1. Next year’s officers are Dawn Waite, president; Teri Nusbaum, vice president; Sheila Zinke, secretary; and DuWayne Beck, treasurer. The next reunion will be June 26, 2016, at the park.

Share those special memories with Celebrations Celebrations features weddings, engagements, anniversaries, and other happy news, such as birthdays, reunions, and four- or five-generation photos. As a special way to preserve these memorable occasions, quarter-, half- or full-page announcements can be purchased. Paid announcements are determined by word count: no more than 125 words for a quarter page, no more than 250 words for a half page, and up to 340 words for a full page. Those paying for announcements will have the opportunity to proof them before publication. Customers will be called when the announcement is ready to be proofed. At that time, any corrections or additions can be made as needed at SVM’s Dixon and Sterling offices. For
convenience, proofs will be emailed without calls whenever possible. Photos may be submitted in color or black and white, and in any size. Emailed photos should be in JPEG format with a resolution of 200 and a width of at least 5 inches for best quality. All announcements can be printed without photos if desired. Celebration forms are available at the Telegraph and Daily Gazette classified departments or by email. Sauk Valley Media is not responsible for errors due to unreadable information. A daytime phone number and email address (if available) are requested to help to ensure accuracy. Weddings are available in basic (free) form (one photo only of the couple), quarterpage paid (one photo), halfpage paid (two photos), and
full-page paid (up to four photos). The wedding form should be returned preferably within 2 to 4 months after the wedding date.
