Jeff is a graduate of Oregon High School, while Jeanne graduated from Polo High School. Their paths crossed at Illinois State University in September of 1970, setting them on the road to being united in marriage on June 16, 1974, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Polo. They have resided in Dixon since they were married.

They are the parents of two children, Laura (Nathan) Underhile of Woodridge, and Paul (Megan) Kuhn

of Dixon. Jeff and Jeanne have two delightful grandsons, Ethan Henry Kuhn and Gavin Joseph Kuhn.

After spending their careers teaching, Jeff in the Dixon Public School District, and Jeanne in the AshtonFranklin Center School District, the Kuhns are retired and enjoy being active in the community and spending time with family.

To celebrate their landmark anniversary, the whole Kuhn family will be vacationing at Tan-Tar-A Resort at Osage Beach, Missouri, the site of the Kuhns’ honeymoon 40 years ago.

About 60 family members were present to wish her a memorable birthday.

Lois was born June 30, 1924, in Chadwick, to Hazel and Glen Kendell. She married Ralph Erickson in 1944, and together they had five

children, Susan (Dave) Foster of Ashton, Larry (Kathy) Erickson of Naperville, Penny (Richard) Linville of Sterling, Jack (Doralee )Erickson of Ashton, and Jill Nordman of Oregon.

Lois has 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jeff is a graduate of Oregon High School, while Jeanne graduated from Polo High School. Their paths crossed at Illinois State University in September of 1970, setting them on the road to being united in marriage on June 16, 1974, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Polo. They have resided in Dixon since they were married.

They are the parents of two children, Laura (Nathan) Underhile of Woodridge, and Paul (Megan) Kuhn

of Dixon. Jeff and Jeanne have two delightful grandsons, Ethan Henry Kuhn and Gavin Joseph Kuhn.

After spending their careers teaching, Jeff in the Dixon Public School District, and Jeanne in the AshtonFranklin Center School District, the Kuhns are retired and enjoy being active in the community and spending time with family.

To celebrate their landmark anniversary, the whole Kuhn family will be vacationing at Tan-Tar-A Resort at Osage Beach, Missouri, the site of the Kuhns’ honeymoon 40 years ago.
