A BIG TOP YEAR

It’s been a thrilling year so far as we’ve continued the Chamber’s theme of “Under the Big Top.” We applaud all of our members, committees and sponsors for getting involved in our events and making them a success.

The attractions are back with an exciting Illinois Chamber of Commerce Week, Sept. 9-13.

The Chamber will have an invigorating week’s worth

of activities as we celebrate and get involved each day in support of one of our amazing Chamber committees.

Here’s a tease of what’s planned, trapezing from one day to the other:

n “Membership” Monday: Let’s grow our membership and inform current members about the various tools and benefits of the Chamber.

n “Women In Business Council” Tuesday: It’s “Give Back Day” to help others in our community struggling with health. Connect with local businesses and give back during our Blood Drive. Our Chamber celebrates over 90 nonprofits within our membership. Think about what you can do –

donate your time or any monetary donation, too.

n “Learning & Development” Wednesday: Follow their lead and learn as they teach you how to listen and network better.

n “Wahlburgers” Thursday: Join the fun during this awesome After Hours event on their beautiful patio.

n “Young Professionals Council” Friday: Join together to foster relationship-building, mentoring and more among professionals of all ages.

We’ll have a great Chamber of Commerce Week getting together, celebrating our achievements and helping others straight from our hearts.

The remainder of the year in full big-top style involves three rings on center stage. The first of these can’tmiss events is the Annual City Update luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn on Oct. 9. Chamber members and the public are invited to hear Mayor Lora Vitek, City Council members and other city officials talk about updates throughout St. Charles, including the Downtown One Plaza, Randall Road corridor, Pheasant Run and

Charlestowne Mall property, among others.

Don’t miss the Friday, Nov. 8 Chamber annual membership breakfast at the St. Charles Country Club. Guests will be the first to receive the new Chamber directories amid the creatively decorated tables decked out by various Chamber members. The highlight of the event will be the Chamber member awards given to deserving members, including Rookie, Member and Chairman’s Award – and you’ll be the first to hear our new Chamber theme for 2025!

Finally, the closing event of the year is our Annual Holiday Party on Monday, Dec. 9, to be held this year at the Graceful Ordinary. Usually a sell-out, capacity is limited to 120 people, so don’t wait long to sign up with your RSVP. It will be a holiday celebration to remember!

And last but not least, thanks to our members, golfers, sponsors and Prairie Landing for making our Chamber golf outing a genuine partee of fun.

It will be a rousing carousel of amusement for the rest of the year. Step right up for these remaining three signature events, so you don’t miss a thing!

BUSINESS

Congratulations to our Businesses of the Month for June, July and August!

DO IT BEST ST. CHARLES HARDWARE STORE n June Business of the Month

It sure was an easy choice to select Do It Best St. Charles Hardware Store as June’s Business of the Month! Like their name says, Dave and the entire team (especially Winslow, their loyal canine mascot) truly ‘do it best’ to help us keep our homes, lives, and community looking and operating at their best, and we appreciate all they do to support our Chamber and community.

Red, white and truly excited to announce July’s Business of the Month – Rookies All American Pub & Grill! Make sure to stop by to enjoy a signature Mai Tai, some time on their spectacular patio, and of course, their delicious food!

We can’t believe July went by so quickly, but we can believe that BodyWorks Medical Center St. Charles-Geneva is our August Business of the Month!
