VILLAGE OF HANOVER PARK

Welcome to Hanover Park – America’s “Global Village.” Our dynamic and diverse community, with over 38,500 residents, is conveniently located 17 miles west of O’Hare International Airport, a short trip from the Hanover Park Metra Station, and well connected via the Pace bus line. Whether it is access to transportation, jobs, labor, or housing, you will find it a welcoming community!

I am proud to let you know that we saw almost $50 million in private investment in 2021-22 in commercial and residential construction projects. We added new buildings to our 5 million sq. ft. Class-A industrial park, several new retail stores, and single-family and townhome construction. Whether you are considering opening a new business or looking to expand, take a look at our website to find a current and complete database of available spaces.

The Village is proud to have received the Gold designation from SolSmart for adopting regulations to encourage use of solar energy. Working hand-in-hand with Habitat for Humanity, 27 new townhomes were built. We are a Village that offers a variety of lifestyle choices for every walk of life. Hanover Park takes pride in honoring and assisting Veterans. We welcomed a new VFW post 5151, as well as the Alive Center for Teens to our community.

A great quality of life means that there is always something to do in Hanover Park! We encourage our residents to check out the various community activities for all ages and take advantage of our amazing recreational facilities. I invite you to partake in many family-oriented events we host all year round, such as our Wednesday Night Live concert series, Corks & Crafts, Market at the Metra, or our Touch a Truck event, as well as many others!

If you haven’t visited it yet – do enjoy our new Ontarioville Plaza (kids will enjoy the interactive water feature during summer) in our ‘downtown’ area just southwest of the train station. Whether you are a resident, business, employee, or just visiting, Hanover Park is the place you want to be!
