The Prophetstown Fire Department’s annual pancake breakfast was on Sunday, Sept. 5, with Fire Chief Gerald Armstrong, left, Captain Trevor Richmond, PFPD trustee James Thompson, and Officer T.J. Becker (L-R) pictured serving up meals at the station. Members of the fire department provided over 600 meals, both dine-in and carryout, during their “by donation” fundraiser. Last year’s event was canceled due to COVID-19.
