With high temperatures in the 50s on Sunday, hikers visited the flowing waterfalls at Starved Rock State Park.

After rainfall earlier this week and visible thawing of ice in the park, the waterfalls were on full display. Starved Rock State Park’s La Salle Canyon will be featured on a U.S. stamp. The park is known for its waterfalls and canyons.

The hike to La Salle Canyon is about 2.6 miles from Parkman’s Plain parking lot off Route 71.
