Ashlyn Keigley, 8, of Granville, received some cold-nosed and furry affection from Grace, the deer during Granville’s annual Christmas celebration held in the village hall on Dec. 2. local schools as they strive to offer the best education possible. “Overall, everyone in the Putnam County School District (PCSD) should be proud of the hard work and dedication put forth over the years. The majority of the results showed progress in areas targeted for improvement,” PC Superintendent Carl Carlson said of the recently released information. Carlson said the Illinois Report Card provides the district with a wealth and depth of knowledge regarding each school.
