A call for veterans Granville Public Library clerk Bernie Egan is shown with the library’s three photos of local World War I veterans. Pictured are Leo Janusick, who served in the U.S. Army from 1917 to 1919; William Tyler, an Army sergeant first class during World War I; and James Steele, who served in the U.S. Navy from 1917 to 1918. The library is hoping to expand its collection of local veterans photos before Veterans Day, particularly of any area World War I vets. Families with photos of their veterans, of any branch of service and war, are encouraged to share them with the library, as well as adding a short anecdote about their time in service.
